Images and keywords say more about somebody or the situation and still leave room for interpretation of the reader/viewer. But sometimes, text is needed to elaborate a bit, therefore a short introduction, not in images but in words. I guess it was somewhere around 1996 when I got my first digital camera a Fujitsu 1.3Megapixel camera, one of the first digital ones. Having a digital camera led to the fact that I started shooting pictures of about anything and everybody. Then later on, I also got some mobile phones with a camera which resulted in me taking pictures of anything, everybody on every possible moment. The end result, a Flickr-account with 18.000+ pictures. Goofy, funny, painful, factual but above all memorable.

Still I always missed one thing, the artistic angle. Therefore in 2008 I bought a better point-and-shoot camera, the Olympus S1010. A nice camera and it allowed me to take ‘better’ pictures. But still, I wasn’t satisfied yet so summer 2009 I finally bought my first on DSLR and started off on a journey that is called “photography”.

Me being a guy, never read the manual and just started playing around with it. After a few weeks, enrolled for my first photography course and now it has become an addiction, this then also led to the creation of this website to showcase a new picture every day to share my memories with you.

Then finally something about me; guy, 27 years old, happily together with my girlfriend Danielle, living in Sittard (Limburg, The Netherlands), HP employee and fond of taking pictures and enjoying music. Saw a great deal of the world but unfortunately not always with a camera or enough time at hand to take pictures (so will have to re-do that again )
